Description: Phalaharini Kali Puja day is very significant in the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda tradition. It was on this holy day, nearly 140 years ago, Sri Ramakrishna worshipped the Holy Mother, Sri Sarada Devi, as Shodashi. As mentioned in our Annual Calendar of Celebrations, which has already been mailed to all our devotees, this year we shall be conducting special worship on Phalaharini Kali Puja day i.e. on the 20th of May (Sunday) from 6.30 p.m. The Special Puja is expected to be over by 9.15 p.m. and immediately after that the distribution of prasad would commence. The Homa will be performed at the end of the Special Puja, and those devotees who can afford to stay a little longer, can attend the Homa and then have prasad at around 10.15 p.m. We invite all the devotees to attend the Puja and also have prasad.
